Vital records can be obtained
by the Office of Vital Statistics in-person or by mail. Office
hours are 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday; although the office
is closed on state holidays. Orders are usually processed in
30-60 minutes if ordering in-person, though orders placed after
4:30pm may need to be collected or mailed to you at a later
date. Fees for requesting vital records are generally the same,
regardless of whether you request a record in-person or by mail.
In addition, you may also obtain vital records directly from the
city or county health department in the county where the event
occurred.
