State Office maintains birth
and death records from February 1914 onwards, but has a limited
number of birth records dated prior to 1914. There is also a
limited number of birth and death records for events in Little
Rock and Fort Smith, dating from 1881. State Office provides
marriage and divorce "coupons" which contain limited
information. Actual records must be obtained at the county
level.

Arkansas are restricted for 100 years following date of birth and must only be obtained by the spouse
or immediate relatives of the person named on the certificate,
or by a legal representative etc.
