maintains birth and death records for events occurring in the
state of Nevada dating back to July 1, 1911. For records prior
to this date, contact the County Recorder's Office in the county
where the event occurred. Records are restricted in the state of
Nevada and can only be obtained by qualified applicants (see
below). Marriage and divorce records are held at the county
level.
